EDM Process

EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining) is used to fulfill the removal of material from the surface of the workpiece by electrical discharge erosive processes. It’s widely used in machining conductive materials as an auxiliary machining process since some complex metal parts can be achieved only with the help of EDM. It can machining odd-shaped angle, detailed contours and cavities on any electrically conductive materials, include common aluminum and up to different grades of steel and stainless steel, including heat-resistant steel-nickel super alloys, etc.

About TipTop Machinery

Experts in Electrical Discharge Machining

After twenty years of development on EDM process, by comblining rich experience, extreme personal attention to detail and the latest professional technology, TipTop Machiney have proved an idea mix of accuray, speed, surface finish and low electrode comsumption.

Nowaday TipTop EDM machines are widely applicated in
tool manufacturing, mould construction and piece-part production.

Our Attainable Capabilities

We are not only committed to deliver high performance EDM machine, but also offer comprehesive solution to our consumers.
Complex parts and precision components is formed in conductive materials with brass or  molybdenum wire.
The required shape is formed negatively in conductive materials with a three-dimensional copper or graphite electrode.
Create micro or small, deep holes in conductive materials with a rotating,  pipe-shaped hollow  electrode.
